Roman Ugarte

I’m interested in using technology to help people make smarter decisions.

I graduated from Harvard with a degree in Applied Mathematics and Economics. My academic focus was on using computational economics and data science to solve tricky knowledge problems.

Alongside my studies I founded Hubble, a company that built specialized AI models for early-stage investors to source promising opportunities. The company was acquired by the hedge fund Point72.

I’m currently at Anysphere, the team behind Cursor, helping the company scale.
